We submitted Kenneth Lay and later realized it should have just been Ken Lay.

I got ENRON as the answer as many, and thought it confirmed by seeing the Easter Egg of KEN LAY in the grid (cute, Matt!) But oof! silly of me to not realize that should have been the real answer... (tho after first starting with STAN LEE rather than ANG LEE, I didn't have the 3/3 name pattern locked in my brain.)

Got credit for ENRON, but feel that I shouldn't have...

Now that the deadline has passed, what was the alternate answer that Matt accepted?

KENNETH LAY. The mechanism begged for "KEN LAY," but, c'mon, Matt had to accept both.

Rumor has it that ENRON might also have been accepted. ENRON was also accepted.

Wow, I did not see KENO SLAY in the grid, that would have made it a much better click for me. Just goes to show that 90% of the time when I have (mild) criticisms of the MGWCC, it's user error...
