Ah, you are learning, Grasshopper.

I tried to think of a Buddhist joke. But nothing came to mind.

On the beach. Very easily.

Might do some laps at the resort's pool because I don't feel like I got enough exercise swimming ashore.

Easy swim to shore this week, unlike our rafting ride in West Virginia this week!

Oh say can you see,
A record number of [single syllable term that was edited out by - I guess - one of the moderators… no problem, I understand why]!

I don't normally report my success (or more commonly, lack thereof), but since we are sure to set a new record, I will confess to having Solved on Thursday to add to the count.

Solved the meta Friday night about halfway through the grid and have been searching for a spot to sit down on Muggles Beach ever since. The crowd here may outdo that at Coney Island this weekend.

Have a safe holiday all y’all.

Happy 4th of July.
Since we're in a celebratory spirit, perhaps it would be good time to invite England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales to join the party and become the 51st, 52nd, 53rd and 54th states. No hard feelings mates.

Wow! Must visit Idaho sometime! The driftwood reminded me of our trip to the PNW, like this praying mantis-like piece on Whidbey Island…
