That was cute! I’m out of the box.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Got a nudge from Tamara. Could kick myself but I'm out of the box. Red herring got me so confused.

I'm assuming a nudge is a request for help? If so, please nudge me!

Could use a nudge here, too. (Is there a way to request this?)

Did not get this one but I just read the solution and I absolutely love it -- Nice one, Will!
(I was stuck on using the Downs of HBO and TOTO to somehow get Hot To Trot -- didn't work. ;) )

I missed this one too but as @AnswerPfinder said - every DNF is another new tool in the bag of meta tricks. Nice one!

And apparently the answer does NOT describe me :confounded:
Contest Crosswords Combating Cancer (CCCC) is a bundle of 16 metapuzzles created to help raise money for cancer-related charities. It is available at CrosswordsForCancer.com.

Did not solve it and afraid I was never close. I tried to make words of the letters, tried to “sound” them out (To be forty…) but the solution was obviously much easier and cleverer.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
