I came in from a few hours of digging in the garden with a fresh perspective, and there it was. I am happily and confidently ashore!

Time to make May Wine, a family tradition inherited from my mom (probably her German grandfather): a jug of dry-ish white wine (I use pinot grigio or chablis), lots of sliced strawberries and freshly snipped sweet woodruff, and let it sit overnight - well, most of it.

I have tried to explain to Mrs. B the “Aha Moment”. Then I noticed an advertisement in WSJ for – of all things – a cruise line. I’m no messaging expert, but the picture and caption do seem to capture the essence of it.

I'm ashore, thanks to the excellent nudging of a pair of Muggle friends. Not enough to give it away; just enough to get the right path in sight. Thank you, D and C!
