MEOW #62 Financial Gains
Happy 2/2/22 – I thought I’d just pop my head up and post a MEOW before I see somebody shadowing me! Perhaps today, instead of the cat and the bag, we should be letting the woodchuck out of the hole? Just watch out for flying lumber….

As always, PM me with the answer or if you get stuck. Nudges posted on Saturday if anyone still needs them, but this is another DrTom Kitten or Calico so I doubt they will be.

Does that mean you solved it, or you haven't solved it?

Test solved.
On a totally different note (but still animals) ---
Interestingly, today, Groundhog Day, just about an hour ago, I saw a rabbit in my neighborhood for the first time since last summer, bounding across the snow. Sadly, it was being chased by a fisher. I'd seen another couple of fishers a minute or two earlier but in a different direction. Didn't think of them as hanging out in posses.
Hope that bunny's running stamina holds out... but (sigh)....the way of nature...

The woodchuck is out of the hole. Hopefully this one did not see its shadow cause I'm ready for spring!
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.
(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

And that is why there is not only chocolate and vanilla but cherry, strawberry, peach, rocky road, etc. One or more of those is someone's favorite. I probably picked on 2D a little because it made for a more amusing clue, and I do love an amusing clue.sharkicicles wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 1:54 pm I loved the cluing on this one, although I do enjoy listening to 2D.

Cat's outta the bag, and agree with others on the cluing: as always, clever and amusing!

Cat's out! Thanks for the puzzle, DrTom!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!
