Had a prior peek at this.

BTW - Just FYI -- The submit button on the crossword compiler online version doesn't seem to lead anywhere.)

Maybe it's color blind.

The only think I can think of to try is getting me nowhere. It seems like it has to be the way. It makes too much sense to not be. But it is too labor intensive to continue to pursue. I am going to wait around for some hints. Nudges on Saturday, right?

I had to get a big shove from a buddy. Not sure I ever would have gotten it on my own.

This is not a labor-intensive puzzle!

I just figured this out while comparing notes with someone. NICE!

And apologies to madhatter5. This is NOT labor intensive.

Aw geez. Had to talk with someone. *They* figured it out. Knowing they figured it out got me to figure it out.

A very SAD puzzle. I hope it's not too much to say that the bag the cat was in was an industrial strength made of steel-knitted cables that seemed all encompassing and impossible to overlook.... until you noticed the maine coon sized gaps between the giant red herring stitches.

For those people who have trouble with colors, here's a description of the puzzle.

Each of the boxes in the grid is completely filled with a color, thusly:

Code: Select all

Row 1: YRBYGYR
Row 2: RBGGYRB
Row 3: GYRBRYG
Where

Code: Select all

 Y=Yellow, R=Orange, B=Blue, G=Green
. (I didn't want to use O for orange because it's in two of the boxes, see below. Orange you glad I didn't?)

Five of the boxes have a letter in the upper right corner, as such:

Code: Select all

--C---O
-------
-L---OR
Happy solving!

That darn cat has scrammed!

Very cool!

Fun to tackle something different. Though I needed a nudge to get started.

At my test peek, I, too, was making this much too labor intensive. I wonder if it was in a similar manner. It certainly did seem as though that was what it should be!

Cat out of the bag (pending confirmation). I am colorblind but that wasn’t my main obstacle with this one. I do have some funny colorblind rabbit holes that I will report after the solution is revealed

Edit: confirmed!
