Finished the grid pretty quickly, and I feel like I'm close to shore on the meta but something is missing. Could I call in the Coast Guard for a nudge toward safe harbor?

Done, and done moments later on Thursday. I'm another in the long line of those who glommed onto this one in a hurry.

Four good playoff games this weekend.

On another note - any Wordlers here? Have been really enjoying something that runs counter to other online games that try to keep you on for as long as possible. One 5-letter word per day and then you have to wait for another 24 hours before the next. Different skill set to crosswords and metas but fun nonetheless!

@mrmd , I Love Wordle…got my whole family doing it. And here’s another variation for you “Absurdle”. Read this to see how it differs from Wordle and a link to play!

I've been enjoying Wordle and find the structure behind Absurdle fascinating! THANKS! More fun!

I’m ashore too Bob.

Not sure what character I might be, but think we can all agree that the Love Boat theme absolutely flipping rocks.

I’m Doc, and apparently I have a hormonal issue involving testosterone.

My wife is giggling so hard she has snot running out of her nose.

Oops - went to my Muggles browser (window open since last week) and posted my status (ashore) earlier today. Later, looked back to read the late posts (always enjoy those) and wondered why nobody had posted all day. My browser was still set on Golden Years!
Stupid me!

EDIT: I did Janet P’s quiz and got Doc. As I arrived in the US well after Love Boat wrapped up, I am now compelled to watch some old episodes to learn about the ‘real’ me!

I rarely post, but since you're after a record . . . I floated ashore pretty quickly on Thursday afternoon.

And I just finished watching the most amazing football game I've ever seen. Josh Allen was flawless. Somehow Mahomes was even more.

Apparently, I’m Gopher. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. He was always kind of annoying.

RAPPERS, or so I was convinced, at 1A had me floundering.

MAUIISLAND?? Most everyone uses ISLAND as a preface to the various Hawaiian Islands, i.e. Island of Moloka'i.

Nonetheless I eventually figured it out.
