Chantellebeal wrote: โ†‘Sun Dec 26, 2021 8:09 pm I've had a lovely Christmas with my family. No white Christmas for us here in WI this year. I am stuck with no inspiration. I have looked at this from time to time after solving the grid on Thursday. I have successfully figured out quite a few of the metas since starting this a few months ago. I have enjoyed great aha moments but am frustrated that I am still nowhere close on this one. I'd love a nudge if anyone has some spare time. Thanks!
Can do, if you can adjust your settings to receive PMs! :)

Finished the grid on Thursday, but really haven't had time to chase the meta. Count me on the ship this week ๐Ÿ˜

Just crawled out of the water, and gasping towards the cabana at the (literal) 11th hour!!
Or 23rd hour, for you military types.
Whatever, Iโ€™m on shore, is what Iโ€™m saying, heh.

My 7 year old granddaughter did this puzzle with me. I printed out the grid and she sat with me and told me which word to do next.
I explained to her about the contest saying that they put the names of everyone who sent in the correct answer into a hat and drew one name, that person winning a mug. I said I had not won it. She said I should send in my entry right before the contest ended so my name would be on top of the hat so I would win!
Wonder if that will work?????

Not a lot of meta time this holiday weekend, but thanks to an 11th-hour nudge from fellow New Englander @MaineMarge , I am safely on the beach.
Ahoy! Check out my meta puzzles here! Check out "Smooth Sailing Sundays" here!

My apologies to several folks who PMed me for a nudge. I spent the evening watching TV with my wife, who I am afraid I have sorely neglected over the holidays because of having the MEOW and working on the others. By the time I saw them there was about 10 minutes left.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Didnโ€™t make it in this weekend. Just too busy with Christmas Eve and hosting Christmas Day. The Roast turned out well though, so it was worth it.

Noticed the verbs at the beginning but lacked the connection to the present.

Thumbs up to all who managed to get this one! :)
