Little late to the party. Finished the grid last night, but didn't look at the meta until this afternoon. Found the answer fairly quickly, thank goodness. The last couple were tough.

I had hoped that I could finally get some clarity about the mega with this puzzle, but I'm still just as stymied as ever. Worse, I remember in the interview Pete said something about making the mega clues more obvious in the next few months, and I imagine he's thinking it's just about as plain as day now, but I'm still not getting it! Looking forward to the head-slapping moment at the end of the year :-)

Last night Mark and I were at our local performance venue, the Kennett Flash, to hear the Hypothetical House Band with Steely Dan guitarist Jon Herington [https://www.jonherington.com/]. Before the show the Flash manager, Andrew, came out on stage and talked about how tough it has been to put on shows during the pandemic. He mentioned specifically that support from the Live Music Society helped the Flash to survive during these challenging times. This is the group to whom Peter Muller donates his Tip Jar money!

I've got nothing here.
There were 2 songs I thought "Can You Make The Time" might hint at,
there were a number of ideas "If I were going to make this puzzle (a big if) here's how I might put hints in the grid"
but nothing led to anything at all.
If anyone has some starter hint, I would welcome it.

I solved the mega meta fairly quickly after the hint. I have no idea for the monthly meta. I guess I'm taking a different route than most people here.
