Yet another fail. I'm starting to think I'm getting too old for this schtick.

Very nice! Needed the spoiler version and it still wasn't obvious to me.

If it makes anyone feel better, the version of the puzzle Will sent to me to edit was the so-called "easier" version. I would never have been able to solve it and also would have recommended a MUCH higher difficulty rating if he'd sent me the one that was first posted this morning. So anyone who solved the harder version, major kudos, but if you needed the easier version, to me that's the way it was originally meant to be presented, so using it should not be thought of as cheating or as a spoiler.

How do I know which version I’ve been staring at hopelessly all day? Thanks!

Dino me!

I had an inkling with v1, but needed v2 to begin to know what to do with the inkling.

Fun!

I’m out of the box. Used the revised version.

Note to self: if you print the puzzle on yellow paper, bring a highlighter in a color other than yellow to work on it

The revised easier version is the one Will emailed at 11:44AM EST this morning.

If you’re solving on crosshare or using the puzzle he emailed at 8:14AM, you’re doing the original hard version.

Sweet Jeebus, I didn't notice there was a second email. I've been banging my head on the hard one.

Dino me! I liked this one! Agree with all who say V1 would have been incredibly tough.
- Just puzzling it out here in Delmarva :D
