Wow - is there a “week zero” classification? This may have gotten mis-shuffled.

Beam me up… and, now back to the WSJ beffuddlement.
The other Wendy.

That was nice and easy. Now I'll go back to not looking at the WSJ because there's no chance I'll solve it.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

On the board at #18. Indeed this was quite easy, though after getting burned a few times by pulling the trigger prematurely, I Googled a bit to make sure my answer was right.

I don't know what the record is for the most correct solvers for Matt's Friday puzzle, but given all the leading answers (and instructions), I'm guessing it may be broken this week.

Beam me up! Using the down only no instructions option. That probably cost me 100 places on the leader board.

I just did Downs+No Instructions and absolutely LOVED the challenge. It is definitely gettable this way, especially for decent grid-fillers (which I am not).
