Ashore. Got the feeling this is going to be a very crowded beach.

Yes, it can be that simple.

A friend's late father's favorite saying: "Give a bug a break & it takes Bug-a-boo."

On the beach, planning for a coffee now and a G & T later in the day!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Matt Gaffney, you’re driving me crazy! The meta popped for me in seconds, but the grid took me 34 pen-chewing minutes. Thanks for a fun challenge, and looking forward to my road soda after today’s fast ends! (The Fast of Gedalia, which follows Rosh Hashanah)

PAGE 6??? YIKES. I've reached the shore. And here I had been edging me way lower in page numbers. Oh well. Happy to be ashore and still in single digits.

Have a great weekend, Muggles.

So, two other great classic movies: The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit and A Gentleman’s Agreement. Which did you prefer, or was it a tie?

Fast? I'm like the guy in the tzom gedalia joke (if you don't know it, you can find it online). Worse, beach-bound these last few days, I also missed out on the shofar. But I was thinking of you and your profile pic.

Ashore, after kind of forgetting it was Thursday...didn't print the grid until 530pm and then forgot about it again until after dinner...
