[Then], you say? 😉

[Note: Good muggles, let's be less specific in narrowing parameters of meta answers, please.]

I have three little words for my nudgees in the back row:

YOU GOT THIS!!

(ie, this is doable for a newbie who still has a normal, non-meta-adapted brain)

ie, non metastasized 🤣

I’m on shore. Once again, I forgot what day it was. Once again, I have never heard of this song. Fun puzzle.

Just to be different, I'm going to say this is the hardest meta I've ever seen and its the only one I've seen where there is utterly no sign of a mechanism at all. Utterly no visible mechanism at all.

That's what I'm going to say... whether it is true or not...

Well, I have a hunch what the answer is (the only song in the last 20 years I've ever heard of) and in idea for the mechanism but utterly *no* way at all to make it work. Not just that I can see it but it can't actually exist.... *sigh*.

Not a meta, but, yeesh!, that was tough to create.

Protest! That's 50% more words than last week! This is word inflation!

But I can handle it. "Hello AGAIN, Isaac".

Panicked for a few minutes, but took a deep breath and collected myself… floated right up onto the shore :)

On the beach.

Way more satisfying "Aha" than last week's. Nice to have young people at home able to identify the song.

As for the cocktail, one son had a "Last Word" so let's go with that.

A good weekend to all. Stay safe.

Hugglety, mugglety,
Three little words should be
Etymological
Pieces of cake.

Four or more words would be
Impetuosity.
Fewer than three? No, a
Mug is at stake!

Good puzzle - made me work for it a "little" bit, but I am now on shore, with the tiki torches helpfully illuminating my middle-of-the-night arrival.

For me, most of the time, working the puzzle leads to "four letter words"

Update: officially, confirmed ashore, with a bottle of champagne!

Cabana guy is singing “You Did It!” from Pygmalion in a key of Pickering. Thank heavens for Zoltan Karparthy. If he hadn’t been there, I’d have died of boredom... ! 🙄🎩
