Ashore!
As always with Mr. Shenk, quite a clever construct!

Insanely clever construction. We always wonder how it is even possible to make a puzzle with this level of complexity.
Anyway, ashore and happy.

Between the two of us, the grid was completed. Google did confirm a couple of proper noun answers. We're thinking that the puzzle title may help with coming up with the meta answer.mntlblok wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 6:58 pmNeither I nor the wifey have been able to even complete the grid this time. We shall go out to dinner to celebrate a week ahead of what we hope to be *very* good news and combine efforts on same. Two months of trying these metas led us to assume that the grids would be "gimmes". Prepared to resort to Googling should our collaboration prove to be insufficient.

Directly to the beach!
Back from our three-week cross-country road-trip seeing kids and family. This was a nice reentry.
I'll save the White Negroni for Saturday.
Nice to be back!

On shore. Was about a minute away from a 1st page solution but had to leave the house to coach 15U baseball. Oh well... but another win for the team!
