Late start. Grid not done, but meta submitted

I did solve this one on my shoe iPhone.

Ashore! (Albeit after some bumpy seas...)

Firmly occupying a seat on deck with Isaac. Finished the grid, but got nuthin' for the meta. You "submitted, now to finish the grid" folks amaze me...

UPDATE: On shore with a light nudge from the ever-helpful @BarbaraK. Still amazed...

This is (for me, anyway) the meta I have encountered of the twenty or so of these I have done. J just registered to ask whether it is experience or was this one particularly ?

Only got as far as the grid before heading out to a post (3-night) town meeting recovery get-together, Beers and Bites, at local Start Line Brewery. Will now see if the "Not Sorry Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout" adds or subtracts to meta-solving capability.
