OK, Mike, now you’re just showing off :)

It wasn’t what I had guessed based on the title (despite a hint toward that approach in the grid.)

But soon enough saw the path to shore and am sitting here admiring the elegance.

Solved meta before filling in half of the grid. 🌴

Actually... having a lot harder time with grid than the meta tonight. Nice change from last week's meta performance at least.

Solved. This is the first time the meta helped me complete the grid.

Ashore. The grid filled in pretty quickly, but I badly needed a nap before tackling the meta, given that I was up from 3:30 to 5:00 this morning and again from about 1:00 to 2:00 this afternoon, cleaning up left-over snow from a storm that came through yesterday. I enjoyed both the puzzle and the meta, but … it’s a relief to have them out of the way … 😜.

For a change I was home when then puzzle came out, 1 PM on the Best Coast.
Finished the grid and saw many were already on the beach. Stuck in a rabbit hole.
Took a nap. Got up and saw it right away.

Nice one
