On shore and it isn't even April Fool's yet. Fun one!

I think I'm on shore - enough to sidle up at the bar - but juuuuust enough doubt to sleep on it before submitting

Well, that was fun!

We went out to dinner this evening and I had a cocktail (Belvedere gimlet, up) before attempting the solve. I spent a little time in a very unproductive rabbit hole or two before the light went on. Again, it was well worth the effort.

Nice puzzle, well done once again Mr. Shenk! Now on to enjoy a beautiful weekend in sunny So. Cal.

Speaking of southern California, I'm hoping anyone who tuned in to the debacle that was the Oscars on Sunday watched until the very end and caught what deserves to be the most remembered moment of the night - Lady Gaga whispering to Liza Minelli, "I got you."

On the shore. Couple of nice “aha” moments.

On the beach. Fun one!

On the shore -- rarely get there on a Thursday. But it is moving weekend -- Washington State to Arizona. Too tired to sleep, so checked out the puzzle. This one had an extended "Now what?" phase, because the first step was fairly quick. But now what? After that it was a dandy solve for the 10pm hour -- a lovely way to end a busy day. It is very clever the way the elements of this puzzle fit together to reveal the mechanism.

Not in the right frame of mind to see anything yesterday. Solved in my head this morning before I got out of bed. Page 5 -

As I was swimming shoreward through the surf, in the lower right corner of my field of vision, I thought I saw Mike waving a hand at me. Now, on shore and with my glasses on, I'm not sure.

On the ship. And I don’t want cause a panic, but Isaac is wearing scuba gear…

I'm on the beach. I'll wave off the drink cart for now and just find a spot to sleep in the sand til sunrise. Elegant construction.

I had the general idea yesterday, but didn't quite make the connection.
