Off to a late start, but swam ashore. I know I'm echoing everyone else, but wow, just wow.

The level (price) of zoom account you have determines the number of participants you're allowed. I know we get close sometimes, but I don't think we've hit the 100 participant cap yet. Bob may have upgraded for Matt's call last month.Meg wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2023 9:27 amIs there really a limit?? There shouldn’t be a limit. If you’ve never been on a Muggle zoom, you should try it. It’s very entertaining and fun! Plus you can get some meta help. Zooming Muggles are super friendly!Bob cruise director wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2023 8:07 am
The 4:30 zoom call may reach the limit of 100 participants.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.
(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

I'm ashore. I got a nudge to know I was on the right track and then a friend and I got together to figure it out.

As usual, @BarbaraK is totally correct on all accounts.BarbaraK wrote: ↑Fri Nov 10, 2023 11:18 amThe level (price) of zoom account you have determines the number of participants you're allowed. Good morning muggles
A right nasty but extremely well constructed meta from Patrick Berry. So far we have 8 on the ship (with many, many more in the bilges looking for rabbit holes) and 48 on the shore.
Tip Isaac well as he and his staff are working hard this weekend.
Good luck and don't forget the 4:30 zoom call
And for all the veterans and their families (spouses, children and parents), thank you for your service. It is very much appreciated.

On the beach, almost before it got above freezing temperatures this morning! Happy to have a relatively easy grid and [amazing!] meta mechanism for a change.

At sea, unable to devote more time to chasing rabbits around the lido deck.

Hanging with Isaac and just not seeing through the haze in this puzzle.

Stuck on step one for the longest time. Got some great encouragement and landed on shore. Crazy construction.

Could use some help on the meta. A medium-size clue would be appreciated.

It is heartening to see some folks have solved this and deemed it brilliant! I am feeling less than brilliant right now. Just a coffee, please, Isaac. A really big one.

I cannot believe it, but I'm on shore after a long solo swim: 4:46.28 (4 hours, 46 minutes, 28 seconds).
All I can do is echo what everyone said. I would absolutely love to hear how Patrick came up with this after the fact.
Me, on shore (I still drink coffee, regardless).
Good luck, all! I'm still in shock.

Finally, ashore thanks to a hearty nudge. This was a fun one, but super tough. I've finished on Thursday and been on Page 4 before. Let alone Friday afternoon!
Good luck to all!

Step one completed. WOW! But Step two is a HOW? Half way through and then a brick wall.
