I think there should be another page 1 for those working til 6pm+ ET with three boys under 10 at home! Haven’t even looked at the grid lol. But reading through, sounds like I’ll need some extra bills for Isaac’s tip jar…

Well, that certainly doesn't mean it won't!
So I just plain couldn't get my meta based on "Up the Down Staircase" to work.

My challenge it to constructors is to make a meta where the meta, theme or metanism is "Up the Down Staircase".

Solved. This was one of my all-time favorites, the perfect amount of mental gymnastics. Thank you Matt!

On Naboo. Landed in a fog, spun circles in the sand, and finally realized I'd been in a parallel universe. Now wouldn't it be interesting if... well, I can't say it right now.

I think I'm super close. I have an answer that feels like a good fit for the puzzle but I had to take one step to get there that didn't feel as sure as the rest. But if I take the more sure step there, I lose my good answer! If anyone wants to talk it out, let me know.

Grid was straightforward (wow, I don't say that too often) but the "alternatives" suggested by the title are eluding me. It'll probably be another week at sea. Fortunately, I'm a regular so Isaac treats me quite nicely.

Completely lost at sea. When I read [REDACTED] I thought for sure I knew the metanism. Obviously I was wrong.

I think all the steps are rock solid, and if something feels shaky, it probably means you’re off in the weeds.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

I got nothing. Every rabbit hole has a bit of rabbit fur but no rabbit.

Maybe if I sleep on it I’ll have some inspiration.

On the boat with Isaac.

I thought the solution might be straightforward but thanks to Matt that is not the case.

When it finds you, it's straightforward. Keep at it!
