For my money, Al is one of the best meta solvers in the world.

Aw, thanks Jay... but lately, you'd be losing your money. I've fanned on more than I've hit in the last month or so.

I think I am on shore, but would love to compare notes with someone else who is ashore to make sure I'm not down a rabbit hole that seems to work. Please DM me if interested. In any event, it's bourbon time!

I don't care for 17A, Isaac, pour me another shot from that bottle on the end of the second row.

On the beach. G & T me (later this evening!)
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Eep... Is it Thurs! I forgot!!!! Better get on board and get off!
So I just plain couldn't get my meta based on "Up the Down Staircase" to work.

My challenge it to constructors is to make a meta where the meta, theme or metanism is "Up the Down Staircase".

What a difference a week makes. Page one last week, stumped today. Going to put it down for a while and look at it again later with fresh eyes.

I hear ya! The big project I was on always had our vendor touch-base meeting at 4pm on Thursdays.

So I retired.

Oh, but my kids still want to wait until Friday evening when Seattle-son can zoom. Oh well... Still waiting for my Lyft to the dock before I can board the ship tomorrow. Don't fill up more than a dozen pages until then folks! That'll be a lot of catching up for me to do.
