On another note - any Wordlers here? Have been really enjoying something that runs counter to other online games that try to keep you on for as long as possible. One 5-letter word per day and then you have to wait for another 24 hours before the next. Different skill set to crosswords and metas but fun nonetheless!

Oops - went to my Muggles browser (window open since last week) and posted my status (ashore) earlier today. Later, looked back to read the late posts (always enjoy those) and wondered why nobody had posted all day. My browser was still set on Golden Years!

I rarely post, but since you're after a record . . . I floated ashore pretty quickly on Thursday afternoon.

And I just finished watching the most amazing football game I've ever seen. Josh Allen was flawless. Somehow Mahomes was even more.

Apparently, I’m Gopher. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. He was always kind of annoying.

RAPPERS, or so I was convinced, at 1A had me floundering.

MAUIISLAND?? Most everyone uses ISLAND as a preface to the various Hawaiian Islands, i.e. Island of Moloka'i.

Nonetheless I eventually figured it out.

I learned a new word this week thanks to this meta.
