Tom, this is SO well said! Amen!Tom Shea wrote: ↑Fri Jan 01, 2021 2:49 pm Merry new year to all.
Many thanks to the folks who put in sooooo much time into keeping this site fun. You know who you are and it makes it all the more enjoyable that you do. (although with all of the new friends here, it is hard for me to keep up with all of the comments). Amazing that a group this large has zero snarkiness. It should be bottled and injected into every politician running for office.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Awesome, Colin! I not long ago saw a documentary about the Four Seasons that was great, but I can't dredge up what it was called or where I found it. I think I came across it when Judy Parker passed a few years back.

Ashore! This brings brightness to a dreary first day of 2021. I ordered my new planner, solved the meta, now going in to cook my Hoppin John Soup (Saveur 2013 if you you need a good luck in 2021 meal) with a hot skillet of cornbread. So far, so good and Happy New Year to all of you- admins, nudgers, and general good community members. I toast you all with the remnants of the bottle from last night...

On the crowded beach, albeit a little late. (Kids weren't available to zoom until this evening. Don't they realize I'll now be on page 14???) Easy grid and meta. Nice construction, as always. Hesitant to celebrate by unstoppering (is that a word?) one of the bubblies my fiancée and I had last night. It was a virtual bubbly and luscious cheese tasting/paring from a local restaurant. Still paying the price a little...
While I saw the "2 answers" issue discussed above, the correct one seemed pretty clear, and for 2 reasons. (Not to mention a third reason I've subsequently found.) Guessed the correct one for the first reason, then found the second reason.
And yes, it fits with the title nicely. 100 Percent on this one.
As others have said, thanks to all on this forum for providing some happiness in this dark year. Though I only joined recently, I've bee reading your posts since seeing the March WSJ article that made you all famous. Happy New Year!
