Ashore. Pilsner, please, if there's any left.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Ashore without much paddling. Thank heavens - it has been awhile! Just a sip of cab.

Well. Ashore. Not so much of an aha as an oh, duh. Still fun, but if I'd been quicker, I might have made page 9!

Just like the rest of the free world, done and done. Great to be on shore for the first time in 2024 ((God, I hope that's not true), and in honor of Anheuser-Busch bottlers not going on strike, enjoying a cool, refreshing Busch Light, the beer by which all others are measured, but you already know that...
Fun pic from a couple weeks back in our backyard with my iPhone. Orion in the center, working clockwise from the 7 o'clock position:
1. Sirius, which Orion's belt is pointing to
2. Procyon
3. Castor and Pollux at 10 o'clock
4. Aldebaran at 12 o'clock
5. Jupiter right by the house
The heavens declare the glory of the Lord.

Finally made it ashore to join the crowd. It was basically what I expected days ago, but it took me a while. Ice cream time!

As soon as it jumped out at me I submitted what seemed to be the obvious answer, but now regret it after further thought. I should have read these Muggles' comments first!Dennis wrote: Sat Mar 02, 2024 12:59 pm Ashore. Came up with two answers and almost submitted the first one, but then remembered Mike Shenk's usual precision and went with the second. I had the same English teacher in high school all four years. (Very small rural school; but she may have been the best teacher I ever had over 20+ years of education. Freshman year was nothing but grammar, but then the next three years were like multi-topic seminars.) She definitely gets credit for help with this! It also brought back great memories of long ago high school.

Count me ashore after a rough patch these last few. Guess that’s sorta like the law of averages in baseball? What’s the meta Mendoza line? I must be hovering around that this year. As it’s a marvelous Midwest morning, I’ll have a cafe latte from Java World (won free for life in a law suit).
Dickie Dunn wrote this, it's gotta be true.
