Someone please tell me how to post a photo

I'm ashore, thanks to dk letter's persistence and patience. (sigh) I should have seen the first step a lot sooner.

Gammodog? Oh, wait. jpg sez Grand Lagoon. Google now sez Panama City beach. Have found some trouble in that vicinity - more than once.

It's good to be on shore after a month of tough puzzles! the grid this week took awhile - way longer than the meta.

Still on the boat despite a friendly nudge. Sigh, apparently not my brain's type of meta.

Am "ashore" *only* because someone took pity on my pitiful heiny and spoon-fed me the answer. Then, saw this as an opportunity toy with the wifey - I mean, test to see what another reasonable human being could do with my gradually-doled-out-newfound knowledge. To date, am gratified to see her getting *nowhere*. That so many Muggles have found this to be "straightforward" boggles my mind. (Am used to the different-species 15 minute solvers). May be that we "normals" (whoa, used to using that term for others) have no bidness trying to rub elbows with you guys. . .

There are two ways to post photos. To see them, you may have to click on the Full Editor & Preview button beneath the posting box, if you are using the Quick Reply:

• From a photo posted on the interwebs, using its URL & the Insert Image above the posting box

Copy & paste the URL of an image posted on the interwebs (say the beach photo, above right) into the posting box.

Highlight the URL, then click on the Insert Image button ((mountain with sun)



You can also use the phpBBCode image tag:

• As an Attachment, via the Attachments tab below the posting box

Click on the Attachments tab below the posting box,

Click on Add Files button.

Select & upload the file.

Click within the posting box where you wish the photo attachment to appear, then on the Place Inline button next to the uploaded image file


You cannot use the phpBBCode attachment tag unless you've uploaded the file. The tag looks like this:

Still on the ship. Haven't had much time to devote to this one. But it sure is bugging me because I'm pretty sure I have part of the mechanism, just can't figure out what to do next.

Finally had time to sit down and work on this. Happy to say I am ashore!

Reaching out for some help! I’m not even sure I have the first step correct.
A nudge would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe I'm just on a rough streak, but this one is stumping me. I'm not even picking up on ANYTHING. No rabbit holes or anything. Could somebody offer a nudge?
