On shore, but wondering if I'll finish the grid.

A horse is a horse, of course of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course, that is of course, unless the horse, Is the famous Mister Ed!

Well that was a rabbit hole
But I did redeem myself and got to happy hour just a few minutes late!

Hey, it must be a mistake
Today as I was eating my steak 🥩
The table did seem to shake
But no it was the 2024 earthquake

I was home, not at the lake
A nice dessert was trying to make 🎂
Put some batter out on to bake
But no it was the 2024 earthquake

Just four seconds it did take
At first I thought it was fake
I thought construction the sound did 🏗️ make
But no, it was the 2024 earthquake

Ashore. Grid took a lot longer than the meta.

But I'm not going to whine. I'm going to wine!

Quick and fun, had it before finishing the grid.

Stay well all

We'll be by about 3:00pm then. Have some wine ready. No... Smithwicks Red Ale!

Okay, I kid. We'll be driving with millions of others, headed towards Syracuse then someplace on the lake. Maybe the first park we see with park-ing. Having a house in the Poconos will cut 2 hours off our drive!

Carried to shore by my husband. I found the grid harder than the meta.

Good advice when you're struggling with a meta:

Go right to the source,
And ask the horse,
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse,
He's always on a steady course,
Talk to Mr. Ed.

And in the case of this week: Don't look a gift-meta in the mouth.

For the first time this year, I'm ashore! As others said, the grid was much worse than the meta.
As much money and life as you could want! The two things most human beings would choose above all — the trouble is, humans do have a knack of choosing precisely those things that are worst for them.

In a way, the journey was the destination (aka the grid took me too long to complete). But I am ashore!
