We have reached the shore after another Saturday night Muggle party and inspiration from Son. Too late for a Guinness?

Hanging with Isaac for now - late start and not a lot of time to delve too deeply.

Noticed some rabbit holes already that have yet to produce any rabbits.

Watching some videos on Pearl Harbor and The Battle of Midway -

Shenk!!! This puzzle is brilliant yet again. Long way to the shore but finally made it thanks to tiny nudge from @BarbaraK ! Maybe a shot of Goldschlager after all that.

Ashore. I don't think it's the greatest puzzle. 2% (SWAG) of solvers will solve it near immediately.

If you are stuck: [PM someone who has solved to get a gentle nudge, such as the one REDACTED here].

I don't know if it is saying too much, {it is saying too much - if the question must be asked, it is, usually].
So I just plain couldn't get my meta based on "Up the Down Staircase" to work.

My challenge it to constructors is to make a meta where the meta, theme or metanism is "Up the Down Staircase".

Feeling amazed at myself for figuring this out without asking for help.

Once I found the path it was a smooth ride to shore.

Let's just say this was not in my wheelhouse. And I learned a few things this time around.

Cheers everyone!

Ashore. Step one was good, step two I was in a rabbit hole. Thanks to nudgers pulling me away from the rabbit the rest was smooth sailing.

Ashore! After a gentle nudge from solving partner Acarl I was so close yesterday but the last couple of steps took me longer than they should have. I woke up today understanding the path. Big forehead slap! Good luck everyone.

Ashore! Back after awhile. Needed a nudge from ergcat. We’re both still enjoying Ireland so it may be a stout for me tonight!

Mourning my 'Hoos loss in the NCAA lacrosse semis, and the impending end of my current streak. Mike is back to his nasty ways!

Too busy of a holiday weekend to spend much time on this one. I submitted a wobbly Hail Mary that likely will fall far short of the goal line.
