Got caught in a wave created by a solver's redacted post, which shared too many details, and find myself ashore.

I'll stick to coffee, for medicinal purposes, but black, as I don't deserve better.

Done and done (~30 minutes from start to end, one of my quickest; cute mechanism with 100% certainty with answer. Cuban + El Dorado Blue rum tonight. Ashore! Just sat down with the grid this morning. Kept seeing bits and pieces of the mechanism. Was finally able to get my poop in a group and find the entire thing. Very clever and I appreciate the creativity it took to construct this one!

I saw something, but didn't follow it and allowed myself to become distracted. I need to remember my own "rule" and see if it's only a one or two of something (coincidence) or at least three (probably a pattern worth following). So much wasted time, too many rabbit holes. Sigh.

FINALLY!

I had the "trick" very early on but darned if I could put it together. Turns out I put it together very early on but just did not see it. It is incredibly frustrating when I do that, but then just as incredibly delightful when I do the DOH head-slap and see the light! Count me ashore please.

I'd put "Keeps missing the Obvious" on my list of things I hate, except that list already includes:
