Marion and I are definitely on shore - she gets most of the credit for this one! I contributed slightly - regardless we are on the sand and ready for the mug..............

The good news - the Guinness Drinking Team. or Guinness-drinking team, jerseys are in!
The bad news - no traction yet on the meta!
Alas, another glass??

I'm really confused... I know I found something but it isn't entirely making sense. Will sit with it for a while. Hi Isaac!

My first rabbit almost got me an answer, but it wasn't neat and tidy. The next rabbit worked. Count me enjoying a Mai Tai at the tiki bar Bob!

This rabbit was squeezy to spot, but made me chase it a while! Ringing the bell--I'm ashore!

Well that was tough, but I'm confidently on shore. Tried for a while to make a wrong answer fit, then found the right answer after trying what seemed like every trick in the book.

On shore. Needed to bounce my meta theory off of my wife before it all fell into place. Nice way to end the year. Looking forward to more fun in 2020.

Now I have more time for Matt's weekly meta puzzle.

On shore, after a rather late start. Another good one!

(And I hope I show up on Bob’s list this week 😜.)

Grid finished while in Florida for Christmas. So far nothing is jumping, leaping, or hopping so far....not even a rabbit!

your are in the spreadsheet - now I have to make sure that you make it to the list on Saturday

But fear not - a year or so ago, I missed Cindy two weeks in a row - so now she is shown bold in the spreadsheet so I don't miss her.

Aha! I'm finally and a little bit unexpectedly on shore.

Amazingly, I think that this makes a perfect 2019 for me; though I haven't kept any records to prove it, the last WSJ meta I remember missing was in December last year. (My year in MMMM also was verifiably good, but not so much MGWCC and PGWCC!) Thanks for the year of great puzzles, Mike, Matt, and others!

Ashore. Not the easiest grid, not the most obvious meta, but one of my favorites this year. Happy 2020!
