I think you might be on to something... is it a coincidence that "Purdy Lee Spackle" and "Clark E. Tripe" have ALMOST THE EXACT SAME NUMBER OF LETTERS!? What say you, "Clark"?

"Clark E. Tripe" had me at his self-deprecating intro, and didn't even have to say "hello". (Sorry for the obvious movie line reference...)

Yes, I suspect anagramming is involved somehow, too.
