Made it onshore! I enjoyed the solve and stumbled into it. Usually it takes a lot of staring and a lot of head scratching. Fun puzzle!

Aha! Mike's last few metas gave me some trouble, but I think I'm back on his wavelength.

Also, It's nice to see "8 1/2" get a mention. One of my favorite movies, and (maybe not coincidentally) one of the first meta films ever made.

Quick solve. Finished mowing at 4:30, grid and meta completed before 4:50. On the figurative beach now and will be able to enjoy the actual beach at Rodanthe NC without distraction this weekend. Bourbon on a rock please!
