Incredible construction, Mike -- wow!
So, Wendy, tell us more about your father........ :)
(JK -- not really looking for any hints.)
Whimsy, how kind of you to ask! Oh ... wait ... you wanted some specific info about Dad?

Totally confused about this meta. And totally confused about what the broadcasters are doing with the Cubs game. One minute the stands are empty. The next minute, there are "fans" in those same areas. I can understand piping in fake crowd noise, but this is really weird.

You all are fast. Thanks for the help.

I wondered about that too. That answer shows up in crosswords all the time, but I think it's pretty anachronistic in real life.
Actually there are 1A around US- Breckenridge has one that’s been there forever- and many in Europe. So not really anachronistic. But further research has confirmed my hunch that this particular clue/entry pair is wrong.

The good news is that we have new muggles - Elizabeth Cutler, cherikee and Amanda Hugginkiss. And the stern garden never looked so good - not a deadhead or weed to be seen.

The bad news is that we have 29 on the ship and only 45 on the shore.

Keeping Isaac in business (and he has plenty of cold beer and ice for mixed drinks and soda)

I’ve submitted an answer but it really doesn’t feel right. It is more like I have an answer in mind and worked backwards to justify. I consider myself still on the ship, but I could spend hours more on this without doing any better.

Lost at sea again, spent two hours at the bar last night sipping bourbon and chasing rabbits, nodded off dreaming that I was playing 62A, for some reason woke this morning with a headache. Not encouraged when other says things like "another difficult meta..." But I'll keep trying no matter how much bourbon it takes!

Issac maybe a little Guinness, for medicinal purposes, of course.

On shore finally after some productive thinking in the stern garden.
As I waded up to the beach I saw signage indicating new guidelines for solving partygoers:

All Others➡️

I’m heading left as this is a 100%er, Muggles.
Good one, Mike🙋‍♀️

Ashore after a small, kind nudge. Literally four words.

Spent two days on the first step and about two seconds on the second one. I may have a thought about preposition usage on Monday. Great puzzle!

Isaac sent me ashore with a Hardywood Tropication. Enjoying all the baseball chatter!

All, rise! Raise your right hand and repeat after me, "I will never, ever, ever, question the severity or difficulty of a meta, nor express a desire for more difficult metas, nor speak critically of any constructor."
'tis... A lovely day for a Guinness!

Have an answer but not sure why I think it is right. I was hoping to back into the support but so far that is sketchy. Looking for a very soft nudge. Officially on the ship this week.

Sleeping on it, after a tad more wine. The thing about spaghetti carbonara is that you need plenty of wine to cleanse the pallet of bacon, Parmesan, eggs, cream, butter and garlic. Any seconds, Isaac?
To those who say this one is easy - maybe wahr for you, but not wahr for me!

I grew up in Colorado, and my local slopes had 1As, but I don’t recall ever seeing them at Vail even in the 70s. Probably just a fun pun.
Not a skier here but ..........I'm figuring just another reason for there to be a ? after the clue?

Dragged ashore with the help of the coast guard, harbor patrol, fire department, red cross and a couple of friendly muggles.

I will drinking at the tiki bar but not out of a WSJ mug.
