Fastest swim to shore ever, both the grid and the meta - once I remembered to download and start the meta, even at this late-late hour. And we're already starting page 10.

By the end of this weekend, I think the beach is going to look like a panoramic shot of the planet surface from the Star Trek TOS episode The Mark of Gideon.

Ashore! Actually a little upset with myself that it took me this long. Truth be told I was looking for something else as the mechanism but I can't say more because the reason I was looking for it is that it is a mechanism I am planning to use in the future.

Patrick Berry always does a great job, challenging but doable. Now all I have to do is wait to be embarrassed tomorrow. But in the meantime I'll celebrate.

How about a celebratory blast from the past. Anyone remember "Droodles" where you had to guess what it was? Here is an easy one, and it goes so well with my usual tendency:

Count me ashore. Got a late start and took a little bit to see it, but great puzzle!

On shore!! This was a really fun one, both the grid and meta. Masterful construction with just the right amount of challenge for my fledgling meta solving skills. At first, I thought I was 26D, and then it all came together.
Thanks, Mr Berry.

A fairly swift ride to shore and just in time as we've lost power here. Going to haul the generator out and get it running and connected, because nothing gets the power on faster than that! Beer me a Murphy's Stout to go with that Law by the same name. Cheers, Muggles!

Fun swim to shore this week, but isn’t it always that way with a Patrick Berry puzzle? Good luck to all!

Ashore! I am definitely appreciating the confidence-building easier swims the last couple of weeks.
