Ahhh - I think I see what happened here. Once you got to shore, you slammed the oven shut and shouted “Take that, Shenk!”

Lost in the biggest sea ever. Super demoralizing to struggle this many weeks in a row. I've looked back at the basic solving clues and they've been no help. I'm tired of these puzzles that just give the length of the answer without having an adequate theme in the puzzle itself. I have something to go on, but there must be another step if that is the right path and another step doesn't sound "simple". With my track record, it's just another dead end.

Any other lost souls want to chat and compare notes, DM me.

By Day Two, this was a Kenny Rogers puzzle for me.

Ashore with tons of help. There was no way in the world I would have gotten it without the kind help of other muggles.

Off to toilet train the toddler. That will make this meta look like a walk in the park. Wish me luck!

Who is Mike Shenk when he's not Captain Puzzler?
What? Just ... WHAT???
Where does he get his ideas? A distant planet? A parallel universe?
When will I have an aha moment on this puzzle?
Why do I keep coming back for more?

For those who are submitting, good luck as the odds are better this week

p.s. what is the mendoza line for metas? 40% - we are very close to that

or should it be 54 40 or fight

Finally ashore
With the help of a tug
Another week
With no chance of a mug...

I can not wait to feel the joy of solving and submitting again. Good job to the solvers.

You can nudge a Catt to sea, but you can't make them go ashore. Ugh.

Thanks for the nudges, but oh well, we just don't see it.

I look down at the grid before me, complete but still hiding its deeper meaning like an ancient puzzle box awaiting the right key for it to open. A key which I do not possess. I start to gesture down the bar but Isaac has already placed another whiskey next to me. My body language letting him know that I will not be leaving tonight. I lean back on the bar stool and think about the fact that I am not just sitting on the stool at the bar, but on thousands of tons of steel which in turn floats on hundreds of feet of sea water. Truly, I could not be more ... at sea.

I am at sea. I keep picking up this puzzle and looking at it. :) Isn't that the definition of insanity? Congratulations to all who have solved!

EDIT: I got it! Picked it up again and saw something. After friendly confirmation that it was actually something, and a small nudge, I got it. I am considering whether to submit or not. I think I would have gotten it without the small nudge.

Had to be dragged ashore on this one. Had no clue which direction to swim, even with hints. I saw the first step, but did not believe that it went anywhere and even after being told did not see it.

I'm still at the crowded ship's bar, as well. Isaac seems a bit harried.

Lost At Sea! And totally convinced that I won't be finding my way to shore before the 11:59 deadline. It's been one crazy week - too busy to even log onto the forum since my last post seven days ago. (Yeh, you know the one, it started with the exact three words that you see at the beginning of this post!) I just finished catching up on all the Muggle news, and once again, things are right with the world. I’m so grateful for everyone who makes this site the fantastic meeting place that it is!

On shore for the record.
Unsubmittable due to excellent and necessary nudges.
Thanks Matt and Mike for the recent master classes.

Looking out my back windows. Blue sunny skies with striated clouds. Sunday home cooked meal in the offing with someone who has put up with me for 40 years. Still looking and thinking about the puzzle but if it isn’t meant to be, c’est la vie! Hey Isaac, a wine spritzer for me!
