My luck with the bracket is no better than my luck with the meta. I am currently dead last (#42) in the family bracket. Although I did pick Oakland. A group text from my son...

UPDATE:

AHA! It worked out perfectly. I am ashore. I concur with what @Joe Ross posted earlier. We are witnessing brilliance at work with this and last week's puzzle.

Sigh... forgot on Thursday, too busy on Friday, too tired when I remembered today. Finished the grid but I think I'll just sit here clueless with Isaac until someone hollers the answer from shore in a couple days... :lol:
