Wordle 218 2/6

There's a story here. Not as 'Wow!' as it may seem. More coincidence than luck.
1/24/2022: Story: I used ARISE as first word & had deja vu going back 2 days to PRICK. After double-checking that I had the correct day, I knew I couldn't use those same letters & CRIMP seemed to be the best answer.

No, he didn't start with BENGAL. That's at least two two-steppers. Psychic powers to be explained tomorrow.Joe Ross wrote: Sun Jan 23, 2022 8:36 am Wordle 218 2/6

Same thoughts at @Joe Ross. I traveled from Indy to Orlando yesterday and I-65 S was filled with Bengal fans traveling to Nashville.

Wordle 218 5/6

Heh, heh. You'll never believe who introduced me to this! My boss! Maybe she thought since it's limited to one a day, that's all I'll do. Little does she know that it just adds to all the word-things with coffee that I find necessary to start my day right....

I'm always full of questions:
1. If the developer is from NY, why is the site from UK?
2. Is there a way to sign in or have an account, or does the game just track what device you are playing from and keep your streak that way? I want to switch to my phone but then I'll lose my streak? Not that it's a big deal because I just started playing anyway.

Hmmm... I was reluctant to try Absurdle because it sounded quite tricky to me. But, I surprised myself:
Absurdle 6/∞

I think Absurdle gives you as many guesses as you need; I don't see a limit. And...you can keep getting a new game. That's dangerous

1. My understanding is that the developer is from the UK but now resides in NYC.Inca wrote: Sun Jan 23, 2022 4:59 pm I'm always full of questions:

2. That is my experience - streaks are per device (lPad and MacBook in my case). It took me a week or so to discover that. Now I do the Wordle on the convenient device, repeating the solve on the “streak” device if needed.
Any corrections welcomed.

I don't have anything clever to say, but if I did, it would go here.
