Ashore! Now back to MMMM and then tomorrow to MGWCC (hopefully a Christmas miracle that it is not a true week 4!)! Merry Christmas fellow muggles and to all a good night!

Seems like the close to the perfect meta.
Stare for a while, see something that looks like it has to be part of it, stare at that for a while and see another clue, run with that with a little trial and error, find my mistakes, get most of the meta and back solve to the end. All in less than half an hour. Not too short and not too long and with a solid click.

I went in search of a meta
My wife was chewing on feta
I got so distracted
I ended up protracted
but now can say I've found ya.

New guy Rob here. My daughter and I are way, way out to sea. Dinner is almost ready, the wine in breathing and we're getting no where - just rowing around endlessly in circles. Is it wholly inappropriate to plead for a nudge? Forgive us if it is... but our entire Christmas Eve might be ruined without it. Thanks all...

If you want a nudge, you’re advised to find someone who has solved the puzzle and invites them (usually after their signature).RobbyG wrote: Fri Dec 24, 2021 7:16 pm New guy Rob here. Ashore. Toes in snow... uh... sand! Portuguese red blend in hand. (Well, on table, so I can type.)
First ever meta with my two kids in person! Daughter's partner joined in as well. And though he's never done a meta before, after I had mentioned various things I noticed, he put two together and came up with the mechanism for step 1. (Criteria for family acceptance?)
Also, we woke this morning in the Poconos (NE PA) to this:
There's still some around. Would be my first "white Christmas" in many, many years if it is still here in the morning.

Forgot to post yesterday, but on the beach. Both figuratively (nice quick puzzle) and literally (with my family in Maui. So beautiful!)

Ashore, but not really thrilled with the (lack of?) rationale for the mechanism. Merry Christmas, all!
