I’m sure you meant the Original Wendy, but this Wendy is a wordsmith and grammarian also (AND a knitter to boot… I’m really just a Wendy Walker wannabe) … and the answer is WHOM. You can always turn your phrase into a question incorporating either HE or HIM. If you choose “HE” use “WHO”; if you choose “HIM” choose “WHOM.” -

Ex.:
“How you solve the meta and with WHO/WHOM is a very personal decision.” ==> I solved that with HIM. (With WHOM? With HIM)

Yer welcome.

P.S. Thank you for the Oxford comma, too.
Love it. And thank you. Both Wendy's are great.

General protocol is: find someone who’s solved it and send them a “private message” on this board.

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.

Hmm. Well, enjoying Isaac's good pours for another week. Have yet to even discover a worthwhile rabbit hole. Studied that language for six years so you'd think something would jump out at me but, alas, nothing! So, have a good day and week, Muggles.

Ashore! Got the grid quickly Thursday evening but Took a bit of thinking to get to the meta mechanism. Had an idea this morning and managed to paddle my way to a solid “AHA!”

But agree with Dr. Tom that the fun is trying to solve and when you are lost a nudge at least gives your brain a chance to partake in the journey. I just wonder why couldn't ,especially at this late stage(sun), some nudge or clue be shared to all? Not a major hint but a look here? Just thinking ...
For a while, people were posting nudges after the contest deadline on another board in the Acapulco Lounge so those who still wanted to solve with a nudge could avoid this board and go there instead. Haven't seen that lately, but if there was demand, I'm sure there'd be supply.

After many hours of staring, I’m still at a loss. Any jumping off point would be greatly appreciated.

Very much lost at sea… was proud to pull clown out last week but any nudge would be appreciated. Not quite ready to pull up a seat and drown my sorrows with Isaac…

As much as I appreciate the nod to my hometown and alma mater, I am stumped and am throwing in the towel.

I'm crawling onto the beach after a massive push from Dr. Tom. This was a KAS 5 for me. Like always, once you stumble upon (or get directed to) the mechanism, it seems not-so-difficult in retrospect. But if I'm being honest - - never woulda happened.

We are officially looking for a nudge although we have nothing to report except unproductive rabbit holes and the data connection is very spotty.

Knowing it took 13 muggle geniuses to figure this out together has saved me from further bothering with it.

8-)

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

Dragged to shore. Kudos to anyone who was able to figure this one out on their own. You are truly amazing!

I've read the discussion--what's the final consensus?
Do "nudged" solvers get to submit?

Been staring at this one all weekend, but still no sparks. Would love a nudge if anyone has some time. Thanks!
