No mug for me this week. I've been persuaded that the answer I submitted, though justifiable, is not as good as the one I didn't think of till another muggle brought it to my attention.

Cosmo, when you saw the puzzle title, did your mind go straight to the "Seinfeld" episode where that saying was used? Mine did!
Yes that's exactly where I went as well!

It was touching to hear her describe her day; I won’t take this for granted for a long time. This has nothing to do with the puzzle, but I thought I would share. Hope you all are on your way towards reclaiming your lives and less 25A these days.

And ashore with about the same certainty as most of you :-)

Cheers,
this week I rode in a golf cart with someone else in over a year - we are both vaccinated. and it did feel weird but good to have the conversation

Meg - I would not touch that one with a ten foot pole

Dumb I am but not stupid
I was looking forward to a humorous and witty comment from you, but OK. When I saw the pic, my first thought was, "What would @Bob cruise director say?" I guess I’ll never know....
I have several comments I could say but most of them would get me in real trouble - from my wife if nothing else

Ashore with 75% certainty...as with some other Gaffneys there isn't going to be 100% verification, but I don't think it's possible there could be any other answer.

Wondering if a 100%er would care to message me so I can run it by you for a thumbs up/thumbs down? Given all the uncertainty here, if I'm wrong, I'd like to keep working on it.
Appears my intuition was correct. I actually really loved this puzzle and appreciated the extrapolation required. Can't have everything on a silver platter, after all :D

MamaE wrote: Thu Apr 22, 2021 5:51 pm I am in that same state - about to submit, 95% sure it is correct...but definitely not a super hard click on the last step. Also see some other items in the puzzle that may point to confirmation of my answer, but we shall see.

It's cold and windy here in Maryland, so I think I'll have an irish coffee with homemade whipped cream ;)
Mama - would you mind keeping your cold and wind to yourself. Here in NE we had 25 and 27 the last two mornings and the wind has not stopped gusting to 40 or so
But I thought that "sharing was caring"?
;)
- Just puzzling it out here in Delmarva :D

Would someone mind having a peek at my proposed solution? It's not totally satisfying but it's hard to ignore.

I'm taking it on faith that our brains are working in similar fashion so after seeing this I went ahead and submitted. Fingers crossed for shore!

I haven't checked in for a good long time...I missed everyone! I did finally manage to encourage my husband to join in the fun. We've an answer, though like others here, it doesn't seem like it is 100%. Will have to wait until Monday to see.

Happy weekend to everyone!!

This one took awhile and involved a more wholistic use of the grid, but it was a lot of fun seeing it come together. I'm about 95% confident of the answer!

Feel like I used to be better at these. Lately I've been solving the grids and coming up with nothing for days at a time.

Similar to others, I've got it... but maybe not. Waiting to submit for now.

I’ve been here with my sidekick Isaac since quarter of four, 🕓 in complete and total bafflement. Let me put it another way...

We enjoyed it and have nothing to add to all the other comments about the queasy feeling that this has to be right - what else could it be - but yet...

Count me on shore. I think I've got what I need - submitting!

EDIT: If anyone is looking for confirmation after submitting, DM me and I can explain my own reasoning.

I'm on shore...I think? Like many others I have that uneasy feeling that I may have missed something as it's not quite 100%
