@Hidden in 3D Sara, this is the greatest thing I’ve heard in a long time!

Oh, and for the record, I’m in the bar with Isaac.
I have a whole page of ideas that just haven’t panned out quite yet.

On shore after visiting the Sea Tiger on the way in.

Two (late) St. Pat's jokes at the expense of the Irish, a group which all of my blood relatives belong:

Q: What's Irish and stays out all night?
A: Patty O'Furniture

Two Irish guys walk out of a bar. Well, it could happen!

Ashore, on what is expected to be a very crowded beach. A glass of Redwood Valley (Mendocino) Syrah please.

Safe weekend to all.

I see you live in Ohio also. For some reason, OHLQ that controls liquor in Ohio has a DEARTH of Buffalo Trace even though it is made in Kentucky right next door!. It has been this way for at least 4 years. 3 years ago I went to Manitoba for my brother-in-laws 50th. I went to the liquor store in Steinbach Manitoba (that when I lived there in 2004 was a dry city?) and they had a huge shelf full of Buffalo Trace as well as a shelf of 50ml bottles. Where I live it comes available maybe every 7 or 8 weeks.
My favorite Kentucky liquor store is across the river, maybe a 10 minute drive. Your accusation against the OHLQ is 100% accurate. I wish you better luck. Cheers!
Y'all are just lucky you're not subject to the Virginia ABC. Haven't seen Buffalo Trace in a year. And right now I can't even get Woodford. But if Elijah Craig is the extent of my first world problems, I guess I shouldn't complain.
Yeah, the Virginia ABC. I lived in the Alexandria area 50-ish years ago. If you had a drink on the table, you couldn’t order another until the one in front of you was finished.

As ashore as I am ever going to be: got what I got; won't get anything else; plausibly submittable.

Ashore, albeit tentatively. I’ve submitted an answer that I think fits the question, but unlike most solvers, I’m not 100% sure my answer is what they’re looking for. But I don’t think fretting all weekend will convince me, so I’ll declare myself on the beach until proven wrong on Monday.

Ashore. They talk all night, and they talk all day. Not for a minute do I believe anything they say.

Me too nearly 50 years ago -- and they made you finish all your vegetables too, as I recall.
