Well count me still drinking with our favorite bartender. It is quite frustrating to see that I am one of the few Muggles who does NOT see the answer or mechanism or hint of a mechanism. I've seen 20 false leads of course but nothing even remotely resembling a path. It is one of those "easy" ones that are easy only if you solve them.

Bah Humbug!
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.

Actually in the toasty living room, but figuratively on the boat with Isaac. Thinking I might not get to finish the meta for a couple of days, if at all. Some stuff going on this weekend. Champagne and shrimp cocktail chilling.

Merry Christmas to all.

Ashore! Woke up to snow this am so maybe a hot toddy with rye or an old fashioned is in order when we get past sunset.

My solving partner and I thought we saw something, but it doesn’t add up. Fortunately there’s room at the bar.

Last year, I was the ONLY one at the bar (I sent Isaac home to celebrate with his family) while everyone else seemed to be effortlessly finding the FRANKINCENSE in the meta grid. So, carry on! Or at least enjoy the drinks and treats of the season.

Looks delicious, and familiar. One summer when I was young, our family housed a bass player from Yorkshire. He was with an international orchestra in Pittsburgh for the summer. One night we had roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, and he said it was the best he'd had outside of Yorkshire.

Grid done. Working on meta.
Health and happiness to all muggles and your families. We left Florida yesterday and are now in NYC for the holidays with family. Was greeted last night by a little snow. What could be better?

Thanks to rapid testing, my son was able to join us, crossing the mighty waters to get here from Brooklyn. We team-solved it. An IPA please. And two straws.

Ashore! I really enjoyed this one and marvel at the talent it takes to create such a puzzle.
There's been a good bottle of port in our wine rack for years, but tonight we share with the family and see if it's as good as I remember.
Merry Christmas, Muggles!

Alert the media: I am ashore. On a Friday. What a great Christmas gift.
I thought i had the answer within minutes of starting yesterday (once the puzzle showed up on the website), but then realized that would have been TOO easy (will explain Monday).
Glad i persevered, and am ready to party with the crowd. How about a Bailey's, please.
For 25 Dec dinner, I will make Mac & Cheese at the host's request. Always leftovers, too.
