Per @Joe Ross 's request, here I am helping my friends Bob and Trish feed three orphaned Angus calves. They get two bottles of formula twice a day. The mother of one rejected her; the mother of another died while calving; and the third, the only steer, wasn't claimed by any of the other cows in the herd.

I was about to give up, because (as usual) I have to be somewhere else this weekend. Something caught my eye as I was packing up and of course I had to chase down that rabbit. And it turned out not to be a rabbit - I think. Like a lot of others, I'm not 100% sure; unfortunately, I can't make the zoom call today, maybe Sunday.

Pretty confident I am on shore. Will check on today's Zoom -- in the meantime, enjoy a view from my hike today at Mohonk. Tried a new trail and it did not disappoint!

As someone who caddied at
Merion (East) Golf Club as a teen, I can attest to the truth of this. Also, my parents, both avid golfers, were people who didn't lose their tempers. (Dad especially. As a kid, I seemed to be able to get mom mad.) Mom had 7 holes-in-one. Dad, 2. Though dad had a lower handicap.
And mom was a good bridge player too!
