Late start and that took me a while! Fun to finally see it, though. Ashore with all you clever folks. Coming up on our fortieth anniversary, March 3… too early for champagne?

I’m on the shore!
Feet on the beach!!
The cabana is in sight!
Could I get the mug this time?
I only hope I might!
But prolly’ not—
Lord knows I’ve tried,
But Gaffney hates my guts.
Sunday will come,
And I’ll be glum—
The usual: “Ah, nuts.”

Safely on shore - grid was a real slog, but meta was quick!

So very happy to be ASHORE and thinking it's about time that I solved a meta after staying on the ship for the last two weeks!

Not timely but a quick swim to shore with the hints given. As usual, clever construction and a solid click to confirm.

Happily on the beach. One of those days I wish I had gotten to the puzzle sooner--maybe could have hit an earlier page. But I will take page 7--or, in fact, any page that says I got it.
Have a great weekend, Muggles.

Sur le plage! I was explaining the puzzle to my daughter and it hit me. A glass of red wine please!

Finally ashore again after a rough couple of weeks. I didn't have much time to work on last weeks, but after seeing the answer I don't think I was ever going to get that one.
Guinness will do.
