Well I submitted something. I am not sure it is right but I can make a rather good argument for it. I am probably missing some glaring verifier that everyone else has seen, but I have no streak to protect and it seems to make sense so...

I'll claim a shore, even if it is not THE shore.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.

Same here! I was maybe 20% with my first answer, wasn’t very happy with it, but a bit discouraged from looking any further on the off chance that it was the right answer. Thankfully, I decided to set it aside and take another look this evening.

I’ll be interested to hear what other people’s first-but-wrong answers were.

FWIW, I’ve never heard of this show, but the internet was my friend.

Uncertainty. In that regard this puzzle reflects a bit of what's going on here.

But unlike this puzzle, it's more real than on TV, and I'm pretty sure the answer won't be posted Monday morning.

I'm still asea on this one, pondering how to move ahead. I'll stick to seltzer, Issac. Gotta stay alert.

Good to hear from you! We are heartbroken over here, watching the tragedy you are in the middle of … stay well and hopeful, friend!

Schmeel, my dear Muggle friend, I've been thinking of you and your nation often. Knowing you brings the war home to me. Holding you in the light (as we Quakers say), and hoping that life will soon return to peace and normalcy.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Got it.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

Now I have found the right shore after a premature celebration. Sorry for shouting from the wrong beach.

Ditto what the Wendys said. You are my first thought whenever I see any news from Israel.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Not a clue. TV shows not my strength (of the six in the grid I'd heard of three and of these seen only two). See nothing that could resemble a click source (some of you see definite evidence, alas), so I'll likely throw a waffle eastward from California later today or tomorrow.

Apologies. It's how my mind annoys me, sometimes.

P.S. NOT meta-related

I really want to know what the "other" answer is. This seems like a 100%-er. Please tell on Monday.

Working too quickly on Step 1, caused a really boneheaded error. (Confirm your work Dave) Once corrected I quickly found a plausible answer. Lacks Matt's usual rigor and I don't see confirmation elsewhere, but the answer is justifiable. Will keep looking.
