Terribly difficult grid, and contest same vibes.
I have 3 days to let this percolate into a solve.

On shore! Filling out the grid seemed almost harder than figuring out the meta. It definitely helped to have done a lot of metas and seen this pattern before. Still fun to do. Tight answer! H wants a Raspberry Lime Rickey, and J will have a Frozen Matcha Latte.

After a two week dry spell, I do believe I am ashore!

On the beach after a crazy rabbit hole journey. Excellent puzzle Mr. Gaffney!

Came ashore this morning after floating around a bit overnight. Now to brew (and drink!) some beer.

Didn’t get to it until today but thoroughly enjoyed it with my morning coffee. On shore!

I have so many questions! I can’t join the Tuesday zooms until summertime, so if you join Tues. night I’ll miss it. The cast lists just 7 people; are you one of them? If not, and I watch it, how do I spot you?

I’ve never seen this film but it sounds intriguing. I watched the the series “The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem” and enjoyed it — made me do some background reading about the time period (we were just in Israel last fall for 2 weeks).

I think this is the quickest I've ever made it to shore.

Also celebrating 50 days sober today, so I'll relax here on the beach with a virgin rum and Coke.
