Woke up in middle of night, corrected a few errors, thought "what if"...and out popped an answer.

TIme to turn on an old Gilbert Gottfried podcast to get back to sleep (since 32 Thoughts doesn't drop their next episode for a few more hours).

Ashore! Step two came to me as I drifted off to sleep.

Ashore. Got most of the way there last evening but couldn't quite see where it was going. Today I noticed something that might be more significant than I first thought and it got me the rest of the way there.

Pretty sure we have it, but not solidly confident. Thought there would be something to absolutely verify our answer after the blatant hint given last week!
Think we will sit on our solution for today and see if it becomes more solid for us.

Was ready to jump off the boat, but now second thoughts and comments here have given me pause. Going to have another look at the puzzle and another think.

My solving experience exactly! Happy to be on shore.

I went around the barn, under the fence and through a neighbor's yard to get there ... but get there, I did. Whew! Time to put a New Trail Crisp Lager on ice for later. (It IS still the workday, after all.)
