Ashore...temperature dropped here in Florida to a frigid 52, so we're huddled under the blankets waiting for the Old Fashioned to kick in.

What a coincidence, we're going to hit 52 degrees this week too. 13 today, 9 tomorrow, 15 on Friday, 15 on Saturday...

Those don't seem like real numbers. I don't think standard thermometers go that low...

This is tonight at 9 pm. Tomorrow I may be able to send you one with a - in front of the number

So disappointed in solving this that it turned out not to be Hildegarde. (It's a generational thing. You haven't heard of her; I haven't heard of . . . Well, I have heard of the meta answer. I just wouldn't recognize anything from their oeuvre.)

After trying to way over-complicate this, I googled a list of one-named singers and realized the answer was right there staring at me - more an oh, duh moment than an aha.

This weekend marks five years since my first meta submission. I recently found this in a dusty corner of my computer, originally posted four years ago on my first metaversary. Since I'm too lazy now to write a new one, thought I'd just share it again.
