Ashore! Nice aha! on this one… enjoying a Last Word from the cabana boy after sharing my secret stash of green chartreuse with him. Cheers all!

Had to google to finish the grid, but at least I got the meta before I did that so I don't feel as bad about it. There was just no choice for me when a tv series intersected with an English civil war site which intersected with a Byron poem whose name is not English.

Ashore! I was stumped but have to say I come here to check if it really is difficult or if it seems a lot of people are getting it. Saw someone say that they were overthinking it, and then I got it almost immediately.

But that can work against me, too! On times where the puzzle is really hard, I do better when I don't check the responses to realize that everyone is finding it hard.

ON THE BEACH. Peloponnesiest meta in some time for me. I needed the confidence builder!

Fun Thursday solve. I usually struggle with Patrick Berry but happy to be on the beach tonight.

Very late start today, but done and done in about 20 minutes.

Done and done! It’s starting to feel like summer here, so I’ll take a Campari Spritz, please. And how about some deep dish pizza in honor of the new pope?

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!
