Hmmm...do I go with the obvious that I see right there or take it one step further although that would be soemthing that's not directly in the puzzle?

Edited:
ooops, just re-read the prompt and got my answer

Well, I'm 100% certain I'm on the beach but I'm going to insist until Sun, that I'm at the bar with Isaac. I got the Cabana boy to find some gunny sacks and clothes I can't dress up to resemble Isaac and the drinks are the same either place. So... here I am on the ship. Yess-sirree, those are waves, and... yes, it sure is boat-like. Yep, No sun and sand at all.

Well I THINK I know what the answer WANTS to be? But this isn’t clicky at all, like I like. Shall I wait for something else to occur to me, or join all you other “I guess this is it” partiers? Yeah, life’s too short… call me beached and bring on the cocktails.

Two weeks in a row ashore unaided. Time for an adult beverage and some sun please. (I'm on the NC coast and it's a monsoon. 🌩☔️)

Eh...I'll take it. Well, maybe better said I'll submit it. No click but still a win. (Thanks, Bob, for the confirmation.)

Isaac, I feel like I hardly deserve a proper drink so how about a soda water and cranberry. I hope that doesn't get my kicked off the beach.

I agree with The Other Wendy. No click, but what else could it be? I’ll call myself ashore!

I'm with the others.
I don't have anything clever to say, but if I did, it would go here.

An interesting one from Mr. Gaffney. I'm pronouncing my status as on the shore.

Ashore, but feel the same as many others, seems to fit, but am I missing something? Will submit and keep fingers crossed, but also set it aside and take another look over the weekend.

Both human members of the team arrived at the same shore by separate launches and if it isn't the right shore at least we are there together.

Alas, the third member of the team, our beautiful hound is no longer with us. While she wasn't a cruciverbalist per se, she did sometimes have cross words for us if we weren't doing as we were supposed to. She will be most dearly missed!
