Nice to see everyone here on the beach. Not too many rabbits for us this week - makes a nice change.

On shore in the shade. Got it while watching the Yankees and the Carmine Hose battling for last place. First solve in too long.

Iced tea for me. On an alcohol fast until next week. Absurd, I know.

After a drought spell occasioned by a great summer holiday being distracted by things other than the WSJ crossword - ASHORE! Nice one.

Ashore with y'all. Hard grid; meta came pretty quickly.
A safe weekend to all.

Ashore. Tough grid, fairly straightforward meta, and a big relief after last week. Just what the doctor ordered.

Actually anchored off the coast of Port-Vendres, France.
Sounds nice! We did the Canal de Bourgogne as a family a while back, and my younger son and I did our SBD course in Tokyo Bay a couple of weekends back. Hoping to be able to anchor something by myself off the coast of France at some point in the future :)
