Just did the grid with my daughter. (Son unavailable this week.) Many rabbit holes. Lots of highlighting. No answers. So I'm with Isaac.
Isaac? Wine me so I can whine (at) you.
Traveling tomorrow to Reno (wish me luck with the weather) and then Sunday to South Lake Tahoe (wish me luck with the weather and the driving). If we make it, at least I should be in heaven(ly) skiing with the many feet of snow they have and are getting!
Maybe inspiration will hit me while traveling?

Okay, I have want I think *should* be a wrong answer but I think *is* the right answer but if it is the wrong answer I can completely defend it.
So I need .... ouzo poured into an upside down wine glass to be lapped out of the stem like a kitten. That's appropriate for my answer.

On shore. Completed grid yesterday and spent a bit of time looking for a starting point, getting nowhere.
Travel day today, so mulled it over while driving. After dinner and a couple of drinks, I looked at it again and was quickly swept ashore.
I see the nit several have, but all is fair in metanisms.

Shoot. I was going to hop on the Zoom today because I haven't been able to in ages and because I somehow got the meta immediately (with the same quibble that most of us have). I think being a film buff probably helped a bit. But I lost track of time. Sorry I missed the fun.
